Everything Air Fryer Pickles with Spicy Mayo

You don’t need to add any salt to these, as pickles are already salty, and the Everything Bagel seasoning also contains salt. Serve with spicy mayo or ranch.

Serves 3–4

  • 1 32-oz jar of sliced dill pickle chips

  • 2 eggs

  • 2⁄3 c panko

  • 1⁄4 c all-purpose flour (can use gluten-free)

  • 1 T Everything Bagel seasoning

  • 3 T grated Parmesan cheese

  • Pinch of cayenne, or more if you like heat

  • 1 t garlic powder

Spicy Mayo

  • 1⁄2 c mayonnaise

  • 1 T sriracha or other hot sauce

  • 1⁄2 T lime or lemon juice

  • 1⁄2 t sesame oil

  • 1⁄2 t smoked paprika

Preheat the air fryer to 425 degrees.

Make the spicy mayo by mixing all ingredients together in a small bowl. Add more sriracha if you like more heat. Set aside.

Drain pickles and place the chips between layers of paper towels and pat dry. Beat the eggs in a pie plate or shallow bowl with a fork until smooth.

In another pie plate or shallow bowl, add the panko and all the dry ingredients together and stir to mix.

Dip each pickle slice into the beaten egg and then coat with the panko mixture.

Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place half the coated pickle chips into the air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Transfer to a wire cooling rack and repeat with remaining pickle chips.

Serve immediately with spicy mayo or ranch.
