Espresso Martini

Post-dinner pick-me-up or happy hour caffeine boost, this cocktail will surprise you and not let you down. It’s very easy to make and really delicious. Use decaf if you don’t want the caffeine and make sure to shake it with gusto.

  • 2 oz vodka

  • 1⁄2 oz coffee liqueur such as Kahlua

  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso or cold brew

  • 1⁄2 oz simple syrup (optional)

  • Coffee beans for garnish

If you are using espresso, brew it, then let cool completely.

Place vodka, Kahlua, espresso or cold brew, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice. Shake very vigorously for 20 seconds to make it foamy. Quickly strain the mixture into a martini glass.

Garnish with coffee beans.
