Air Fryer Salmon Bowl

This bowl is open to interpretation so consider this recipe just a template and modify it based on what you have on hand, or flavors you prefer.

  • 1 lb salmon, skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes

  • 1 T sriracha

  • 2 T soy sauce

  • 1 T sweet chili sauce

  • 1 t sesame oil

Topping options for serving:

  • 2 c cooked rice

  • 2 c mixed salad greens

  • 1c shredded cabbage

  • Shredded carrot

  • Sliced scallions

  • Cucumber

  • Sliced radishes

  • Sauteed shiitakes

  • Avocado

  • Everything bagel seasoning (or sesame seeds)

  • Cilantro

Sriracha Mayonnaise

  • 1 c mayonnaise

  • 3 T sriracha

  • 1 T lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced

  • Salt and pepper

Make sriracha mayonnaise by whisking mayo with sriracha, lemon juice, and garlic in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.

I like to toss cabbage, carrots, and cucumber with a little rice vinegar but this is optional.

Preheat air fryer to 425 degrees (or use a conventional oven). Toss the cubed salmon in a bowl with sriracha, soy sauce, chili sauce, and sesame oil. Season with a little salt and pepper. Transfer to the air fryer and cook for 7-9 minutes, depending on the size of your chunks.

Divide rice, if using, among bowls and top with greens, cabbage, and any or all of the toppings you wish. Divide salmon among bowls. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning, cilantro and drizzle with sriracha mayonnaise.
