Overnight Protein Oats

Overnight oats with the addition of protein powder will keep you powered up all morning and beyond.

  • 1⁄2 c old-fashioned oats

  • 2 scoops protein powder, or 20-25g (I use Vital Proteins)

  • 1⁄2 c dried cherries, or any dried fruit

  • 1 T chia seeds

  • 1⁄4 t cinnamon and/or 1⁄2 t vanilla (optional)

  • Pinch kosher salt

  • 1 c almond milk, or any milk

  • Maple syrup, or honey, to taste (optional)

  • 1⁄4 c mixed berries

  • 2 T sliced almonds, or other nuts

Layer oats, protein powder, cherries, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a pint mason jar. Add almond milk, seal tightly and refrigerate overnight.

Uncover, stir, and add maple syrup if desired. Top with berries and almonds.
