Acai Bowl

This recipe is a template for a bowl I like to make, but use creativity here, and also what you have on hand, to make this bowl your own. Be sure to have your purée fruit frozen for the thickest result.

Acai Purée

  • 1 packet frozen acai (100g)

  • 1 small banana, frozen

  • 1 c frozen blueberries (or other frozen berry)

  • 1⁄2 c orange juice (or any juice, or water)

Toppings

Mix and match, pick and choose, it’s up to you!

  • Granola Coconut shreds

  • Fresh berries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries

  • Fresh melon or mango

  • Sliced banana

  • Yogurt

  • Chia or sunflower seeds for crunch

  • Mint leaves for garnish

  • Honey or agave syrup (optional)

Place all the purée ingredients into a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth. You may have to reposition your fruit in the blender a few times and/or add a little juice or water. Pour into a large bowl. Add your toppings and enjoy!
